Use systems of post-consumer PET can be classified into three groups: mechanical recycling, chemical recycling and energy recovery. Mechanical recycling is the most used, and is the one we choose to work everyday.

The final product of mechanical recycling plants is a material in form of flakes, which may be used in most applications of PET, except those involving direct contact with food.
